Ragala Venkat Rahul break nation records in 2017 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships

Ragala Venkat Rahul (85 kg) and Sivalingam Sathish Kumar (77 kg) qualified directly for 2018 Commonwealth Games by winning GOLD medal in their respective body weight categories during 2017 Commonwealth Senior (Men & Women)Weightlifting Championships.

Ragala Venkat Rahul busted 16 new records with his standout lifting of 351 kg (156 kg + 195 kg).

India started competition of 4th day during 2017 CommonwealthWeightlifting Championships at Gold Coast, Australia with a GOLD and BRONZE MEDAL in 77 kg Youth Boys where Ragala Varun won Gold with a total weight of 269 kg (124 kg + 145 kg) and Abhishek Poonia won Bronze with a total weight of 256 kg (113 kg + 143 kg).
